First Nations Land Map Bc

Source added (october 25, 2018). We strive to map indigenous lands in a way that changes, challenges, and improves the way people see history and the present day. Our family consists of communities in various stages of land code development and implementation.

If you ever find yourself in vancouver and you visit the museum of anthropology and you find yourself staring at the bc first nations map, the one piece of information that often stuns you is that british columbia has more culturally distinct first nations than anywhere else in canada. The first nations included in this map are only those that are participating in, or have completed treaties through, the bc treaty negotiations process. We strive to map indigenous territories, treaties, and languages across the world in a way that goes beyond.
